Why?

Because we believe that:

Future “educational battles” will be fought online
It would be difficult to convince young people to disconnect and come offline, hence facilitators might as well learn how to make young people´s online time more exciting and worthwhile
Being good facilitator offline is certainly a good start for online facilitation, but it also requires a new set of competences to be developed
Online learning is what makes Learning really Long Life
Online learning is not an alternative to residential based education, but it should be seen as taking residential learning one step further
Online education brings a new dimension to intercultural learning and international cooperation as a whole
Online education is a new and exciting field, which offers a lot of space for creativity, invention and imagination!

For trainers and facilitators who:

have experience in facilitating learning of young people in international educational settings
have knowledge and practice of nonformal education and learning
are interested in developing and facilitating online learning for young people
are wiling to reflect on their practice and work on their competences of facilitators in online settings
have basic IT skills and are not afraid of experimenting with the computers
are committed to applying their newly gained skills in developing online learning courses
